I would have liked to have taken some college level art classes this summer as well, but the Memphis College of Art started any class which might have interested me before I moved.
While looking for alternatives, I found Flicker Street Studio, and took the encaustic and wire sculpture workshops.
It's a pain in the ass to get there by bus (What isn't? Memphis Area Transit Authority sucks hardcore) but they are good people, I learned new things, and I had fun.

Guess my blog is suffering from the Memphis heat too
I am staying at Studio 6 Memphis, going to Resolute Tuesday and Thursday nights, currently working on web design for our newest app. Seems that making games doesn't make financial sense, although it's the reason why most of us joined.
Most of us are hoping we could get back on that track, at least part-time.
I have been working on art for Eightsphere, our GCC game, although the distance makes it a little hard to stay involved, and the leader, Wei, is being a little unclear on what to do next.
Here's what I did until now.

Shiverlick is still alive, albeit as lazy as everything else :P
