Reworking A Lady

Against all predictions, I found some motivation to keep working on my Leoptiofis seer. Slowly but surely she is shaping up into proper portfolio material. Maybe I'll be dusting off the website soon.

Got an anatomy pdf open on my laptop, and I'm fixing her one part at a time. Turns out she was too tall. Once I'm sufficiently happy with her anatomy, the plan is to show her in various states of dress.

A graphic design project collecting dust: A fun idea to take a made up brand, Urmacher, through various transitions, making it fit steampunk and cyberpunk aesthetics.

ANSC Trade Counter 3rd revision

This is the third revision of the Austin Nature & Science Center Trade Counter brochure, which I took far too long to complete. Too easy to get sidetracked when working from home as a volunteer graphic designer.

Austin Nature & Science Center Trade Counter card sketches

I volunteer at the ANSC, been watering the trees every Monday morning for the past month or so.
Of course, my main reason for starting was to help out with the art/design/software side of things, but I get distracted when I work from home.
I finally got around to finish the first round of sketched for the redesign of these cards.

The editor of Origin Magazine told me she would love to have me as an intern, but that was a couple of weeks ago, and I'm still not sure how it'll pan out. This job limbo sucks, but I hope something does work out, and I can move into my own apartment.

9 more days in Israel

My website is still a work in progress. I realized that the gallery code doesn't work in IE, and I may have to replace it with something that does (and maybe get more space for explanations in the process.) So I haven't really started the job seeking process.
I also need to design ads for sketch group, and have them approved by our dean of student affairs, something which shouldn't take long, once I get around to it.

I haven't seen/painted the remains of the fire yet. I don't think the mock interviews are going to happen. Haven't done as much digital painting as I planned to. Still haven't gone to Masho Masho, my old workplace, to have a chat with my old boss. Still didn't buy Scott a gift.

At least I have my nightly ID sketch session.

I also did this pirate cocktail party, merging two INTJf topics, Pirate and Cocktails. :)

Mid Summer review

Been in Memphis for over a month. Back to school at the end of this one.
Turns out being a graphic designer isn't that bad. Maybe it's because it's for interactive media, or maybe it's because I don't have to deal with clients.

I have done a few more concepts for Eightsphere. Could do some more, namely weapons and spell effects. I know Wei wanted it done by now, but the distance poses some problems.
