New Promotional Material Taking Off

You may have noticed a change at the top of this blog. I've changed my header image, as my retro futuristic airplane project is coming to a close, taking it's place on my social media profiles, as well as a new design for the back of a new batch of business cards. The front part will get some minor changes to the information presented on it.
Going to let my eyes rest for a couple of days, take another look at these, and if I don't spot any mistakes I'll order new cards.

Monster studies

I did this page of monsters / animals yesterday, just to see what I can come up with. It was well received on my social networks, and one of my friends went on a 'like' binge through my art folders, including one of my studies, which made me realize it might not be a bad idea to do another one based on the monsters. I have been struggling lately with finding a project, this should kill some time.
No news on the job search, local or globally. It's the holiday season for us Israelis, which may be partly to blame, though I doubt there will be a torrent of phone calls at the end of the month.

CC: Plant Enemies

Taking a break from the environments so I can look at them later with fresh eyes, I shifted towards drawing thumbnail silhouettes of walking plants, inspired by the first enemies you see in Captain Comic 2. The first 3 are based on the in-game sprites. For the rest I have been thinking about the plant life cycle and how it might play if combined with animal locomotion. I was also thinking about jungle life, to fit with my initial environment studies.
